Evolution of Technology

Day 9

Because of competition, the gaming business has evolved into what it is now. Nintendo and Sega’s quest for earnings spawned plenty of fresh ideas.

Sega levelled up and brought the 16-bit games with the Sega Genesis, which was higher up in terms of graphics and experience, since Nintendo was still in 8-bit games and Sega recognised there was no more improvement in 8-bit gaming to be done. Nintendo became a game for kids which became popular only for 1 game (Super Mario). But sega came up with plenty of games, which began to be recognised as games for adults. It introduced fighting games such as Contra, Mortal Combat and many more. So if you want to be on the top, come up with something different all together instead of coming up with improvements in the existing thing.
